Velipoja, nje nga plazhet me te bukura ne Adriatik. Nje qender turistike dhe pushuese mjaft e kendshme, me peisazh te larmishem, ku nderthuren hijshem deti me plazhin e tij ranor; lumi me delten e tij; ishujt me kodrat dhe pylli qe per simbol ka shpe-
ndin e fazanit.
Velipoja eshte mjaft e populluar keto dite, por autoritetet thone se numri i pushuesve nuk eshte i njejti ne krahasim me vitet e shkuara.
Pashk Ujka, kryetar i komunes Velipoje, tregon: Kriza globale eshte ndjere edhe tek ne. Shume pak emigrante jane kthyer, ndersa ka pasur edhe shume pak turiste nga Kosova. Nese me pare kemi pasur 150 mije turiste, kete vit ky numer eshte rreth 100 mije.

Perpos pretendimeve te pushuesve, ne Velipoje ka edhe nga ata biznesmene qe shprehen se po bejne te pamunduren per te lene te hapur rrugen e kthimit per turistet. Gjovalin Gudija thekson: Mundohemi tu ofrojme klienteve nje sherbim te rregullt. Sherbimi eshte paresor sepse une kerkoj qe klientet te rikthehen perseri.
Por nese ka te pakenaqur ne zone, ankesat krijohen nga vete bizneset: ēmime te kripura dhe sherbim qe le shume per te deshiruar.
Mendoj se mungon sensi i punes, edukata e punes. Sherbimi mund te jete i mire, por shqiptaret e kane bezdi tu sherbejne te tjereve, shpjegon nje pushues.
Shume pushues i drejtohen Velipojes per klimen dhe karakteristikat qe ofron zona, per peisazhin e luginat e pasura me bimesi e per gjithēka tjeter qe natyra ka ofruar me bujari. Ka te tjere qe duan ti arratisen vendit per ate qe dora e njeriut po permbys ne natyren e ketij gjiri.
